Data status

“Updated daily” is a claim. This page is where you check it. It reports when the pipeline last confirmed a successful poll, and what each source has actually produced — two different facts that we never let stand in for each other.

10/10 sources reporting inside their freshness window

Every source has confirmed a successful poll inside its own window (30 hours). Nothing is silently stalled.

What each source has produced

Counts are published items on record, all-time, with the material share in parentheses (“material” = a rule change worth a practice’s attention — see methodology). The date is the source’s own date on the most recent item, not the date we scanned. A quiet source with a current scan is regulatory silence, which is information too.

What “behind” means — and what it doesn’t. It means ourpoll of that feed is outside its window — not that the source itself is down. A publisher can be perfectly healthy while a key of ours expires. We publish which feed rather than only a count, because whether it matters depends entirely on which one: our legislative feed going quiet affects every state claim on this site, while a border-refusal feed going quiet affects nothing you would act on. We don’t publish failure counts or error messages — those are operational noise that invites misreading and change nobody’s decision.

Nothing here is estimated.Every number comes from the same records the public feed reads. Where we have no dated item, this page shows “—”, never an approximation.

The full list of sources, with the exact endpoints we read, is on data sources.
